Membership in the Plainsman Agri-Search Foundation is open to anyone interested in agriculture and presently there are about 100 members. This group meets annually and elects an executive committee to conduct the business of the Foundation. The executive committee plans the research, secures financing when needed, and promotes the extension of research activities through annual meetings, field days and seminars.
The Agricultural Experiment Station administers the program and funds a Research Scientist/Superintendent and Research Farm Tech I at the Center. In addition to the funding from the Agricultural Experiment Station, financial support is provided by the Plainsman Agri-Search Foundation. Additional labor and supplies are provided by the Foundation and various research projects.
